Deputy Executive Director

Beki is an exceptional leader who has made an indelible mark in Kenya’s Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife as a former Permanent Secretary. She is a highly educated professional who has studied at top institutions such as the Institute of Social Studies in Hague, where she earned a diploma in International Relations and Development, and at the University of Nairobi, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Beki is a woman of many talents and has a Bachelor’s degree in French and Arabic, a postgraduate diploma in International Relations and Development, and a diploma in Etiquette.

With a background in Diplomacy, Protocol, and Administration, Beki has served as a diplomat in various Kenyan missions abroad, and she is also Kenya’s first female chief of protocol. Her expertise in people and resource management is highly regarded, and she has even worked as an etiquette consultant, inspired by her experience in diplomatic protocol. Beki’s passion for helping people be the best version of themselves shines through in her work.

What sets Beki apart is her unwavering commitment to helping formerly incarcerated women feel dignified and supported as they go through rehabilitation and re-entry into society. Having been formerly incarcerated herself, she knows firsthand the importance of this work, and her dedication to giving women a second chance is nothing short of inspiring.

Beki’s authenticity, honesty, passion, integrity, commitment, and hard work are values that she believes are essential both in her personal and professional life. She is a true role model and a shining example of what can be achieved through hard work, perseverance, and a desire to make a difference in the world.

Ms. Diana Odhiambo is an award-winning communications strategy specialist, communication policy specialist, digital strategist, and an experienced print, radio, and television journalist. Over the years, Ms. Odhimabo has used her platform to design, curate, implement, and assess campaigns that work to uplift communities through amplifying and highlighting their voices so they can communicate on their own behalf effectively.

Utilizing her 15 years of newsroom experience and her intense passion for storytelling Ms. Odhiambo has worked with over 30 A-List brands including companies, both profit and nonprofit, and individuals, to curate campaigns around gender equality, ending poverty, climate change, integrity, and excellence amongst many others. Ms. Odhiambo is equally passionate about helping grassroot organizations increase their positive impact on their communities through effective communication strategies and practices.

Through the CSR arm of her organization, she has supported local, grassroot companies in over 10 African countries to raise their voices and profiles. She is dedicated to supporting Clean Start to ensure that the voices of formerly imprisoned women are heard, and advocating for their successful integration to society.
