I Decided On A VPN

Nov 19, 2014 | Internet Safety, Internet Security, Tor Project, VPNs | 0 comments

After several months of trying VPNs, I decided on IPVanish!

It is fast! Some VPNs slow your internet connection down. They claim the full blown versions are different. IPVanish actually speeds up my connection. I pay for 20 MBPS from a cable provider. My speeds are 25 to 55 MBPS when I’m connected to one of IPVanish’s servers. They are one of the fastest growing Tier-1 VPN networks. The server pool is scaling up!ipvanish

It is configurable. Mine starts with Windows. All of my internet traffic is via a VPN tunnel. It “feels good!”.

It is available for all your devices. I have it installed on a desktop, a laptop, a Macbook pro, an ipad, two iphones. I don’t have any Android devices, but if I did, I could protect the internet traffic on them, as well.

  • Watch Netflix, Hulu, sports and news from anywhere in the world
  • Stop ISPs from spying and throttling your speed
  • Prevent getting hacked while on public Wi-Fi
  • Keep your online presence and information private
